They say you should walk the walk before you talk the talk, so I'd like to think I'm living proof of what training right can do. When I first started lifting weights I was a 115lbs weakling in my freshman year of High School. I always liked playing sports but because of my lack of muscle I wasn't that great of an athlete. So I started lifting weights. By my senior year of High School I was 140lbs (that picture of me is my senior picture, I was 17 years old, stood 6'1, and only weight 140lbs), so I hadn't made much progress. To make a long story short I did a lot of studying and learned how to train RIGHT! In a period of a little more then one year after that picture was taken I put on almost 50lbs of muscle, all natural (no drugs). Since then I've put on a few more pounds of muscle but my main focus over the last several years has been to maintain my muscle mass a stay cut (as you'll see in the second pic). Imagine that achieving your fitness goal in about a year, or less as you'll see with some of these individuals below.

After my girlfriend left me I thought I would be single forever. Being out of shape I never I the confidence to talk to women, let alone as them on a date. Now with my new body I also have a new level of confidence. I easy talk to any beautiful women I see and have no problem getting dates, surprisingly many times there the ones asking me for my number (never thought that would happen).
Those 15lbs of muscle I've gained and 8lbs of fat I lost in those first three weeks are just the beginning. I'm now fired up about health and fitness and I plan on competing in a fitness competition this fall. Before I felt I had not purpose in life but now my dream is to help and inspire others to exercise and get in great shape. I plan on becoming a certified personal trainer so in my spare time I can work with others to help them overcome what I overcame.
If there's any advice I could give to anyone it's to take care of your body. In life you only get one body. Treat your body well and life will treat you well!

Training with David Rich was the best choice I ever made for myself. Training was not only great for my body, but it also helped me feel better emotionally, and physically. From our first session to our last David always had new advice about working out. David is knowledgeable in all areas of physical health, from exercising safely to eating smartly and taking vitamins to stay healthy. Not only did David provide safe and proper training with weights; I also learned about different cardio routines. David taught me to eat healthy and properly for my body type. Before David's advice to start taking vitamins I used to get sick quite often, but now I can see and feel a difference in my health. Even after I had dropped several dress sizes with David's help he still continued to provide me with fun, new changing workouts for my stubborn target areas. After training with David for almost a year, losing a total of 45 pounds, and going from a size 14-16 to a size 6-8 I am the healthiest I've ever been. I have a confidence in myself I've never had, and I will always be thankful toward David for that. I truly feel training is what David is supposed to be doing! Even now 4 months after his move customers and other trainers are talking about how great he is. New trainers are always being compared to David, and are told what big shoes they are going to have to fill.
David is a great trainer because he is smart and most important of all he is great with people. Four months after David's move I am still working out 5 days a week, and eating healthy. Thanks to David I have fun, various routines, and I know I'm properly working out. Thanks to David I've made a lifestyle change that I know will last a lifetime.

If these workout plans can get a skinny old man like me buff then they can work for anyone. Before coming across this site I use to just do random machines a few times a week. I wasn't seeing any progress and people were telling me I was going to hurt myself, but I'm no quitter. Then my nephew in Oregon was telling me about these workout programs he was following on this site and that I should check them out. I sure glad I joined. In my first 2 weeks I put on 5lbs of muscle, more then in the previous 3 months doing my machine workout. Now two months later I'll stronger and buffer then I've ever been, I think I even have those six-pack abs for the first time. The workout videos are my favorite part. I never tried the free weights before because I didn't want to get hurt. But after watching all the workout videos I know how to do free weights safely, no more wussy machines for me. Thanks for creating such a helpful site.

After watching your workout videos I’ve realized that I’ve been doing a lot of exercises wrong. I started following you workout and nutrition programs, and combined with doing the exercises right, I’ve gained at least 7-8lbs of muscle, I’m more rippers, and my bench press went up 30lbs in the first month. Can’t weight till next month.

You may not remember me but I wrote you a little over a month ago and asked if I could lose about 10lbs and be more toned by my cruise in the beginning of June. You wrote me back telling me which exercise and nutrition plans to follow and said to tell you how my cruise was after I came back. My cruise was great, especially since I was 10lbs lighter and much more toned. Thanks for the help!
